Every kitchen we design considers the space, budget and lifestyle. In this family cottage the pantry was removed to allow a more open space, a large window added to allow more natural light and all glass uppers giving the feeling of more depth in the room. Using white on the uppers and grey on the base cabinets gives interest while giving a sense of spaciousness .k.
Custom Kitchen Idea: Beverage area
Beverage areas have become very popular as they localize the flow of traffic to one area, leaving the cook enough room to prepare meals. In this cottage with plenty of open space and limited wall area, we got creative by using the cathedral ceilings. This small yet functional space contains a coffee centre, beverage fridge, and wine rack, plus lots of glass and liquor storage.

Custom island/dining
As people downsize, multifunctional furniture becomes a necessity. In this townhome, the dining room was added to the kitchen area to make way for extra cabinetry. For entertaining purposes however, a dining table was still needed. The solution for this space was to design a large island with lots of storage on one end and a dining table on the other.
